My musical comedy The Ballad of Lefty & Crabbe is “going on tour” this year!
Of course, I put that in quotes because it’s not a tour, it’s just two seperate productions in different cities with a few overlapping participants, but that’s clunky and hard to fit in a blog title.
Lefty & Crabbe is a fast-paced, absurd, and heartfelt comedy about a down-on-their-luck Vaudville duo who hoof it out to Hollywood in an attempt to keep up with the rapidly changing world of entertainment. It began as a Fringe Show way back in 2015, then got its first full production in 2017, went on to win Best of the Fest at the Chicago Musical Theatre Festival in 2018, and most recently received a short workshop run at The Understudy in Chicago.
I’ll be sure to update this post with more info, but for now, here’s an overview of the coming productions - hope you can make it!
