TLR Talks with Friend Dog Studios

  • The Living Room Theatre 1818 McGee Street Kansas City, MO, 64108 United States (map)

Description from The Living Room's website:

-------------------------------------

TLR Talks is the the Inside the Actors Studio of Kansas City, so instead of James Lipton, we have Artistic Director of The Living Room Theatre, Rusty Sneary! The series, brought to you by The Living Room education program, highlights the careers of various artists who bring a unique perspective to the industry.

Friend Dog Studios is the creative collective of Brian Huther, Seth Macchi, and Ben Auxier. All actors and writers in their own regard, the three joined forces a few years ago and haven't stopped churning out work since. Their online channel has produced over seventy videos to date and has received waves of international attention for viral hits like Your Drunk Neighbor: Donald Trump and 2016: The Movie. From the smart to the absurd, from the raw to the adorable, their comedic style surprises and delights audiences in Kansas City and far beyond.

In addition to their videos, Friend Dog Studios produces podcasts, works with clients to create series, puts up improv shows, and writes plays. Their work in this area includes H4CKS, which earned a Best of Fringe designation in 2016, and the musical comedy The Ballad of Lefty & Crabbe, which earned the same in 2015 and is now being revamped for a full production running May 24th - June 18th at The Living Room Theatre!

Come laugh, chat, and get a peek into the perspectives of these three KC/Chicago artists!
